Big Beach « Thread Started on Jul 13, 2007, 9:29pm »
Stacia orbed into the beach and sat on the shore, just sitting there thinking to herself. "why can't anyone just leave me alone for 5 minutes" she muttered "why....". She decided to be quiet and rest in the time she had before someone else barged into her life. She layed down on the sand and closed her eyes - at peace for now.

She awoke wondering what else could entertain her before getting up and siging. She orbed out without a word...

Exxie drove Kiara's car down the ramp which usually led the way down to the sand for boats, etc and drove her cousin's car right into the water. She smiled to herself. Now it was time for her to go kick some demon butt. She orbed out. *Continued in Underworld*
James woke up with a short gasp as the blue swirl of lights around him disappeared. Hesitantly brushing his hands across his chest, James realized his wounds had healed completely.
His hands running from his chest onto the sand around him, James quickly sat up and frowned at Lucinda, suddenly confused at what has just happened. Nothing like that had ever happened to him, and only when his whitelighter shows up, does some kind of evil, magical creature try to torch him?
''That.'' James began as he got to his feet and patted the sand off his trousers and the back of his shirt.
''Was seriously screwed up.'' James frowned, turning and looking around to see where he was. He couldn't see any cars or people around, which only added to his frustration. He didn't want to ask his whitelighter to take him back home seeing as he wasn't on such good terms with her, and he didn't really want to go to any of his normal locations seeing as he might be almost fried again.
''So what is it that whitelighters are supposed to do anyway.'' James sighed, trying to figure out what to do next. Maybe she could help him understand what was going on.

Lucinda frowned at James. "Your welcome." She said, sarcastically whilst brushing sand off her knees. At least he now believed her.
"Whitelighters are basically guardian angels, for people who have powers." She said, in a tone that sounded robotic. "My job is to protect you, to guide you and to advice you." She smiled, happy that her was now starting to take an interest at least. Its a start. She thought.

''Alright.'' James replied, stuck for words. He didn't want to be standing on the beach in this frustrating situation all day long. He'd already been almost killed by some maniac who could throw fire from his hands, and he didn't want much more to do with Lucinda right then.
''Would you mind doing that thing you did earlier to get me back home? You know, the thing you did to get me here in the first place?'' James feigned a smile very convincingly, walking towards Lucinda.

"You mean orbing." Lucinda confirmed as she sighed and put her hands to her waist. She looked around the beach, still panting from the demon attack. "I'll orb you back home, but you have to promise me that we will talk." She asked, waiting for a response.

''Alright. I plan on doing that anyway.'' To see what I can do with these nifty new powers of mine. James thought inwardly, nodding to Lucinda in confirmation.
Hesitatingly moving forward to Lucinda, James simply stood in front of her for her to orb him back home. He didn't know what to do to make it work, so he simply waited.

As Lucinda listened to Jame's response, she could not help but still be slightly concerned about him. He has no idea how to defend himself. She thought. Taking a deep breath, Lucinda placed her hand on Jame's shoulder and orbed them both out in a circle of brightly coloured blue and white lights.
