Over the years that the Charmed Ones gardually lessened their magical duties and let the next generation of Halliwell's take on more of the repsonsibility (the older ones), evil has been building, taking advantage of the situation, becoming stronger in both numbers and power, and The Source has come from the Underworld to take his chance to take control and let evil rule the world. For this, The Source has disguised himself as a female witch in her early 20's in a bid to get close to the Halliwell's to either turn them or if that fails - kill them.
